The programme started sharp at 10 a.m. with the hoisting of National and School flags. Then there was the felicitation of the Chief Guest. Everyone was extremely glad when the Chief Guest declared the Sports Meet “Open”. Like all other sports event our school began with the March Past comprising of Class III students of all the four houses – Bhagat, Gandhi, Netaji and Patel. The junior marching squad then took the oath to follow the rules and regulations of the Annual Sports Meet 2019 honestly and sincerely.

The first event of the day started with the Nursery students. The events had fancy names and music relevant to every event was played in the background to make the events more enjoyable. The first was named SHAPE UP. Then came up the event called COOK IT UP, where the junior Master Chefs prepared Sandwiches. The other two events that took place after that were LET’S PACK UP and FISH YOUR FISH. Along with the races the participants had Fancy Dress Show called THE CARNIVAL. Nursery students wore innovative crowns made by their parents. Such hard work and pains got duly rewarded by the Chief Guest, who ranked them and gave them rewards.

After that the KG students also had a series of interesting events like FRUIT FALL. SHOOTING STARS, CANE CHANGE and SIP SLOW. Among them they also had a carnival in which the kids were dressed up as different characters from the Rhyme World, bringing back memories of favourite Nursery rhymes.
