ALL INDIA “SWACHH BHARAT” ART COMPETITION 2018-19
The ALL INDIA “SWACHH BHARAT” ART COMPETITION 2018-19 was held in our school in December in response to a bid to the Jan-aandolan by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to spread the awareness about a clean India. “Swachhata” was the soul of Mahatma Gandhi’s preaching, and, to commemorate this and celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji, which would fall on 2019, our Prime Minister had embarked upon this programme of “SWACHH BHARAT” ART COMPETITION for school children in the State and National Levels.
The National Education and Human Resource Development Organisation had communicated with the school through a letter. It was an initiative of the National Education and Human Resource Development Organisation and the National Economic Growth Times. Our Vice- Principal and Art teacher organised the competition at the school level within the school premise. The response from the students’ side was overwhelming. Students from Nursery up to Class X had participated in the competition with enthusiasm.
The number participants went up to hundreds and 37 students won the school level prize. All these students acquired first to tenth position in the competition. They were awarded with medals and certificates.
